Cancelations & Refunds:
$500 deposit is to hold your spot as retreat dates are set far in advance.
The deposit is non-refundable at any time.
If you choose the payment plan option, each payment is non-refundable as you are paying as you go when payments are due and are no longer in the time frame for refunds.
Retreat must be paid in full 60 days prior to retreat date.
No refunds for cancelations 60 days prior to retreat date.
Refunds for advanced paid in full payments:
75% refund if you cancel with a written email notice up to 4 months prior to retreat date. (minus deposit amount.)
50% refund if you cancel with a written email notice up to 3 months prior to retreat date. (minus deposit amount.)
No refunds once retreat is 60 days away, for any reason, no exceptions.

Travel Insurance:
We recommend Travel Insurance to insure your investment in your travel plans.
"Cancel for any reason" policies do exist and we recommend you look into this. You can choose the policy and coverage you want. Some include coverage for property loss and unforeseen medical expenses as well.
We are not responsible for any issues or costs associated with travel, delays, accidents or medical bills.
No partial refunds can be given if you arrive late or leave early.

Why we are unable to issue refunds and where the deposits and payments go.
When we put together a retreat we must place a non-refundable deposit ourselves to hold space for the retreat and accommodations. We are able to accomplish this with help from the deposits we receive from you, the client, at sign up. Essentially your money is spent and there’s nothing we can do to get it back.
Another reason we are unable to refund payments is because people who cancel often do so last minute. Our payments for retreat rentals and various costs are usually already spent or due 90 days out from the scheduled retreat so we make sure our guests are paid in full prior to that. If a guest cancels within this time frame we would have to eat the cost of the loss. Therefore the policy is no refunds.
Sometimes we need a minimum of attendees to host our retreat event and if we have short notice cancelations, we may have to run the retreat below our minimum. Last minute cancelations are forfeiting any refund because we have to continue the retreat for all of the other participants who booked.
Late cancelations effect us the studio, the resort and the other students that you are planning to go with.
A lot of planning and spending goes into the retreats for both the studio and the resort. We all make plans ahead of time and accordingly based on the bookings. This is to insure a great experience for everyone going!
We understand unforeseen circumstances happen, however we cannot refund retreat costs after a certain time has passed.
Again, we recommend looking into travel insurance.

Acceptance of Cancelation Policy:
Upon retreat sign up you will receive a document to fill out, sign and return to us with your deposit. This document will go over the terms and conditions stated above for you to agree and accept.
