Hot Pilates with Weight classes will still work your whole body but some classes will be more focused to target either the lower body, the upper body or both with combination strength training exercises.

Don’t skip out on 💫Savasana 💫

It’s at the end of class but it does not mean it’s the end of class just yet!
-
Depending on the class we always factor in and guide the last few minutes or so of rest at the end of class…
A few minutes to breathe deep.
The rest is important for many reasons.
After hard work outs (like hot Pilates) the body will recover better if you give it a few minutes at the end to stretch and rest.
It allows the heart rate to settle, the nervous system to regulate and promotes better recovery.
Mentally it is beneficial to take the few mins to settle down and relax too.
In Yoga classes it gives you a chance to go even further into your meditation and practice a deeper connection with your mind and body.

We understand everyone has different goals, and that you may not want or like Savasana (resting pose) but just the same as you may not “like or want” push ups or squats or chair pose, you practice it and try when you come to class.
So maybe you try Savasana too! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Either way we do ask that students stay for the duration of the classes because it is disruptive to the other students and the teacher when students leave early.
Why? It’s distracting and noisy for those around you and distracting for the teacher who has to lock the studio back up behind you, leaving the class of students momentarily.

We know things come up! And we understand but please don’t make habits out of dipping out and skipping the end of class.
